About the Department

Summary Objective

The purpose of this position is to conduct outreach, manage, and coordinate all project-related training activities and client services in a timely and effective manner. Serve as the primary point-of-contact for all community organizations, trainers, and service providers who are engaged in project-related training and services.
This class works under general supervision, independently developing work methods and sequences.

Position Duties

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The essential functions listed below are those that represent the majority of the time spent working in this class. Management may assign additional functions related to the type of work of the class as necessary.

• Plans and coordinates all on-site trainings and educational events.
• Coordinates training regarding the Sanctuary Model, Parent University, CBITS and AF-CBT interventions.
• Coordinates and ensures client services are offered and received, and referral and aftercare services are in place by coordinating and collaborating with program partners.
• Secures locations and coordinates logistics for all project-related trainings and events.
• Coordinates the Champions for Change cohort of trainers.
• Participates in Champions of Community Challenges Advisory Board meetings.
• Assists in the development of and provides instruction for in-service training programs.
• Prepares clear, concise, and comprehensive written reports and presentations.
• Performs related work as assigned.
 

Minimum Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social or Human Services or related discipline.
• Two (2) years in service delivery of program activities to include identifying and implementing trauma-informed, evidence-based practices; working within communities impacted by systemic and historical disparities or engaging with grassroots initiatives or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

OTHER MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license with an acceptable driving history.
 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Physical demands refer to the requirements for physical exertion and coordination of limb and body movement.

• Performs sedentary work that involves walking or standing some of the time and involves exerting up to 10 pounds of force on a regular and recurring basis or sustained keyboard operations.

UNAVOIDABLE HAZARDS (WORK ENVIRONMENT)
