We have an opening for a Chief Innovation Officer/ Chief Information Security Officer at our Arnold headquarters.


We are seeking a strategic and forward-thinking Chief Innovation Officer (CIO)/ Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to lead the development, management, and performance of our technology infrastructure and information systems. While innovation and digital transformation are key priorities, this role is first and foremost about ensuring data security, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance.


This member of our leadership team is responsible for developing and executing technological strategies that support sustainable growth in membership and assets—without increasing staffing levels. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in IT operations, cybersecurity, and systems optimization, with a clear understanding that efficiency and security are foundational to growth.


As a key member of the leadership team, you will oversee all aspects of technology—including infrastructure, software tools, information security, and compliance—while fostering a healthy organizational culture and building on our existing strengths. You will also play an active role in strategic planning and cross-functional collaboration to support the credit union’s long-term objectives.

Requirements

 What will you be responsible for:

  • Oversee and actively direct the Information Technology, Information Security, and Data functions
  • Provide strategic leadership and vision for the development and execution of credit union initiatives
  • Foster a high-performing, team-oriented organizational culture rooted in our core values
  • Drive strategies that ensure both short- and long-term success, growth, and stability
  • Collaborate with the Executive Team to enhance member service, cross-functional synergy, and employee engagement
  • Serve as a role model for our mission, vision, and values

What skills does this position require?

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field (or equivalent experience) is required; Professional certifications in relevant fields (strongly preferred)
  • Executive leadership experience in a credit union
  • Minimum of 7 years in executive management within a financial institution with specific focus in Information Technology and Information Security
  • Minimum of 10 years managing large-scale projects and organizational growth strategies
  • Demonstrated experience in growing a credit union
  • Proven success in revitalizing at least one underperforming financial institution to financial stability and growth required; experience in more than one underperforming institution preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams
  • Expertise in organizational efficiency, information technology strategy, information security strategy, and project management
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Office 365, MCIF/data warehouse tools, and financial institution core software
  • Exceptional diplomacy, tact, and professionalism
