Campers Inn RV is looking for an Assistant Service Manager. This role is responsible for leading the service operations and service employees.

Pay Range - $70,000 - $90,000 a year with commission

Essential Job Functions

- Responsible for leading the service operations and service employees under limited supervision by the Service Manager.
- Training service employees to operate at optimal efficiency.
- Ensure that employees are being managed on a daily basis; ensure that there are weekly meetings with direct reports, and the meetings will cover issues, productivity, safety, training, and other pertinent topics
- Identify and provide solution for issues to avoid escalation.
- Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks in order to manage a high volume service department.
- Cultivate employee tenure through recognition, personal development, and high morale
- Ensure Service division is running smoothly and working in conjunction with Parts and Sales.
- Maintain accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports.
- Proven customer service experience
Qualifications
- Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- License & Certifications:
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record is preferred
- Experience:
- Prior service experience required, preferably in RV or Automotive industry
- Management experience in an automotive service department is preferred
- Strong customer service skills
- Abilities:
- Must possess strong conflict resolution skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to superior customer service
- Ability to read and understand reports Ability to operate the department profitably within dealership guidelines
- Must be results-driven and have a desire to make a positive impact
- Proficient with MS Office, including Excel
- Knowledge of or ability to learn company system applications, including Motility Systems2K and other software as applicable
- Ability to withstand occasional exposure to high places; fumes or airborne particles; and toxic or caustic chemicals
- Ability to bend or sit for long periods of time
- Ability to be able to reach above shoulders and lift a minimum of 50 pounds
