We have an opening for a Chief Growth Officer at our Arnold headquarters.


We are seeking a visionary and strategic Chief Growth Officer (CGO) to lead initiatives that drive sustainable growth in membership and assets—organically and efficiently. While expansion is a key focus, this role is first and foremost about developing our people, maintaining staffing levels, and fostering a culture that builds on our existing strengths.


This member of our leadership team is responsible for designing and executing growth strategies that align with our mission and values. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in organizational development and strategic planning with a clear understanding that empowered staff and operational discipline are essential to long-term success.


As a key member of the leadership team, you will oversee cross-functional efforts that support growth, including marketing, business development, and staff development—while ensuring consistency, collaboration, and cultural health across the organization. You will also play an active role in shaping the credit union’s future through strategic planning and leadership alignment.

Requirements

What will you be responsible for:

  • Oversee and actively direct the Human Resources, Marketing, Training, Facilities, and Project Management functions
  • Provide strategic leadership and vision for the development and execution of credit union initiatives
  • Foster a high-performing, team-oriented organizational culture rooted in our core values
  • Drive strategies that ensure both short- and long-term success, growth, and stability
  • Collaborate with the Executive Team to enhance member service, cross-functional synergy, and employee engagement
  • Serve as a role model for our mission, vision, and values 

What skills does this position require?

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field (or equivalent experience) is required; Professional certifications in relevant fields (strongly preferred)
  • Minimum of 7 years in executive management within a financial institution with specific focus in Marketing and Human Resources
  • Minimum of 10 years managing large-scale projects and organizational growth strategies
  • Executive leadership experience in $800M credit union, preferably $1B or higher
  • Demonstrated experience in growing a credit union from $500M to $1B
  • Proven success in revitalizing at least one underperforming financial institution to financial stability and growth required; experience in more than one underperforming institution preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams
  • Expertise in organizational efficiency, human capital strategy, marketing, branding, and project management
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Office 365, MCIF/data warehouse tools, and financial institution core software
  • Exceptional diplomacy, tact, and professionalism
