Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Technology Specialist with expertise in IT infrastructure and end-user computing. This role involves providing on-site and remote technical support, managing installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals. The specialist will play a key role in enhancing end-user experience through efficient service delivery, proactive problem-solving, and continuous process improvements. Strong communication and collaboration skills are crucial for working across teams and engaging with stakeholders
Key Responsibilities
Proven Ability to provide Level 1 & Level 2 support for multiple device types like: Desktop Devices, which include desktop PCs, engineering workstations, trader workstations, terminals, dedicated Azure Virtual Desktops etc; and Mobile Devices, which include iPhone/Android smartphones, tablets, laptops PCs, portable network devices, smartphones, and embedded devices, etc
Troubleshoot network connectivity, VPN, Wi-Fi, and endpoint security issues in collaboration with network and security teams.
Perform hardware installations, replacements, and asset inventory; maintain accurate records in the IT asset management system
Document support processes, update knowledge base articles, and escalate complex issues to L3 teams as needed
Desktop & Laptop OS basic config & troubleshooting, MS Office 365 basic configuration & troubleshooting, Active Directory basic config & troubleshooting
Provisioning, remote monitoring, and configuration of EUC devices as per the standard policies and procedures of customer EUC Environment
Backup and restoration of EUC devices
Configuration & Maintenance of EUC Asset details in customer ITSM tool
Managing complete lifecycle of Incidents & Service Requests as per SLAs
Ability to work in high pressure environment with multi-tasking and positive attitude
Working with third-party Vendors to identify resolutions of Incidents & Problems
ITSM Tools like Remedy & ServiceNow
Deploy operating systems, applications, and patches using System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
Enroll devices into Microsoft Intune; configure compliance policies, configuration profiles, and application deployments
Administer Microsoft 365 tenant: create and manage user accounts, assign licenses, configure Exchange Online mailboxes, Teams, SharePoint sites, and OneDrive
