We are seeking a dynamic Public Health Dental Hygiene Practitioner for immediate hire to support our Oral Health Impact Program (OHIP) in Philadelphia, PA.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate via telephone with families regarding oral health education and appropriate nutritional counseling.
- Recommend oral health home care instructions.
- Recommend the use and/or purchase of equipment, materials, and supplies.
- Responsible for educating clients and caregivers about oral health.
Requirements
- Current dental hygiene license with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
- Current PHDHP license with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
- Minimum 1 year experience
- Basic understanding and knowledge of HIPAA Privacy Rules
