The purpose of a Human Resources Analyst - Classified is to provide support to the Classified Human Resources Department with specific responsibility of supervising, training, and developing human resources staff and ensuring that the technical work of the department is completed in accordance to established guidelines, procedures, and regulatory requirements. This classification is responsible for performing a wide variety of technical personnel duties involved in the recruitment, screening, testing, hiring, processing, classifying, and compensating of classified personnel; developing exam plans and materials; ensuring that personnel functions conform to all applicable regulatory requirements. Serves as a technical resource to employees, administrators, applicants, and the public regarding classified human resources; coordinates assigned human resource services and activities.

SPECIAL INFORMATION: Offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of a drug test, TB test, fingerprinting and may include a physical exam. The physical and drug screen are paid for by the District. The fingerprint cost is $40.00 and is paid for by the candidate.
The results of this recruitment will be used to formulate an Eligibility List which be valid for one year.

The process may consist of an evaluation and scoring of application materials, written testing, oral interview and/or performance test to evaluate the applicant’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies.
