The Blackhawk Group is expanding and seeking an experienced HR Generalist to help shape how we hire, engage, and develop talent across multiple locations. Based at our North Phoenix corporate office (I-17 & 101), this role supports sites in the Phoenix metro area, Camarillo, CA, and Alaska and requires occasional travel.

What You’ll Do
- Build Strong Relationships: Be a go-to resource for employees and leaders. Provide guidance on employee relations, performance, and engagement — ensuring fairness, consistency, and alignment with company values.

- Enhance the Employee Experience: Design and deliver programs that foster engagement, recognition, and belonging — from onboarding to career milestones and beyond.
- Recruit Top Talent: Manage the full hiring cycle for your assigned business groups — from defining roles and crafting postings to interviewing, selecting, and onboarding exceptional talent that fits our “One Blackhawk” culture.
- Lead with Compliance & Integrity: Maintain HR compliance across multiple states, ensuring policies, procedures, and practices meet both legal standards and our high internal expectations.
- Coach and Empower Leaders: Partner with managers to strengthen leadership skills, improve team dynamics, and navigate sensitive employee matters with confidence and fairness.
- Support Change & Growth: Implement new HR initiatives, streamline processes, and help guide organizational transformations as we expand our Performance Center network.
- Champion Learning & Growth: Collaborate on talent development and succession planning efforts to build future leaders and strengthen bench depth across the organization.
- Use Data to Drive Decisions: Prepare and analyze HR metrics and reports to inform leadership decisions on engagement, retention, and workforce planning — always making data more actionable and transparent.

What You Bring to the Table
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or Business Administration required
· HR certification (SHRM or HRCI) strongly preferred
· 5+ years of HR experience in a dynamic, high-growth, or multi-site environment
· Proven ability to design, implement, and sustain HR programs and initiatives
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
· Demonstrated discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive information
· Experience in the aviation industry preferred but not required
Compensation: $80,000–$100,000 annually, depending on experience (DOE)
