JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Maintenance Technician I performs preventive and corrective maintenance on all facility and building systems under the direction of Leads, Supervisors, and Managers. He/She completes specialized repairs in areas of technical expertise. He/She performs other general tasks for the maintenance and upkeep of grounds, facility and site.

EDUCATION:

High School diploma or GEDMust possess a valid Vermont driver’s license and safe driving record

EXPERIENCE:

One year of experience in one or more of the following: plumbing, electrical, carpentry, general maintenance, or construction. May substitute a second class license issued by the National Institute for the Uniform Licensing of Power Engineers (NIULPE). Six months of experience in building or grounds maintenance preferred. Demonstrated mechanical aptitude in a related trade is desired.
