Damar is looking for a talented and motivated Family Preservation and Community Based Clinical Supervisor to join our team. The Family Preservation and Community Based Clinical Supervisor is responsible for delivering client-centered, culturally competent, and effective services to individuals served by the agency. This role utilizes evidence-based practices to provide goal-oriented services and conduct safety assessments. Reporting to the Director of Community-Based Services, the Supervisor plays a key role in supporting the agency’s mission, vision, and goals. Primary responsibilities include providing home-based therapy to children and families in Damar’s Family Preservation Program, supervising master’s level clinicians, and ensuring compliance with evidence-based practices. Additionally, this position supports the Community-Based Program by developing and implementing policies and procedures to maintain compliance with COA, Quality and Compliance, and finance standards, as well as providing clinical supervision to Community-Based Services (CBS) therapists.

- Provides clinical oversight and consultation to therapists handling Family Preservation referrals.
- Supports file review, customer relations, crisis management, and individual clinical support, in addition to leading group clinical supervision.
- Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care.
- Supervises a small caseload of Community-Based Services (CBS) clinicians, including reviewing and approving monthly DCS reports.
- Conducts or provides consultation on intake assessments for new Family Preservation referrals.
- Recommends and ensures adherence to evidence-based practices (EBPs) within individualized treatment plans.
- Reviews and approves all treatment plans to maintain clinical integrity.
What you need to be considered...
- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or related field with Licensure required.
- Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFTA), or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHCA) through the Indiana Behavioral Health and Human Services Licensing Board is required.
- 5 years of experience working with children and families involved with the child welfare system and/or children and families with incidents of abuse or neglect required.
- 2 years of previous supervisory experience preferred.
- CSAYC not required but a plus.
- Experience working with children and families involved with the child welfare system and/or children and families with incidents of abuse or neglect.
- Ability to pass and maintain CPR certification.
- Minimum age of 18 per licensure requirements.
- Must meet and maintain background screening requirements for all Damar Programs as detailed in policy 1.HR.02 Pre-Employment and Employee Background Checks.
- Valid Indiana driver’s license and driving record that meets eligibility requirements of Damar’s insurance carrier (for all positions requiring driving).
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen and physical required.
Essential Job Functions:
Physical: Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight (up to 35lbs); to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; to travel to other locations using various modes of private and commercial transportation; and to verbally communicate to exchange information.
Vision: See in the normal visual range with or without correction.
Hearing: Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
