Application Analyst I

The Application Analyst provides consultation and assistance to users of health information systems to include analyzing user requirements; troubleshooting and resolving technical and Clinical issues; training users; and, writing user documentation. Job duties and responsibilities include facilitating projects with limited direction. Meet with customers to define and document specific troubleshooting issues for IT Tickets received assigned. Responsibilities also include working with Vendors of Applications to problem solve issues and coordinate software upgrades when needed.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a computer-related, business or health-related field, or equivalent technical training required.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in an operational, or IT-related analyst role preferred
  • Skills in the following areas preferred:
    • Customer Service 
    • Project Management
    • Computer Application Support in Enterprise setting
    • Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Visio 
    • Microsoft Access and SQL Database 
  • Must have good interpersonal communication skills
  • Must be customer-service oriented and able to effectively communicate and build relationships with Team Members at all levels in the organization
  • Ability to handle large volume of diversified work and meet deadlines
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently when necessary 
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
