Below are the preferred skills, duties, and responsibilities you will perform as our Inventory Clerk.

Position Summary:
The function of the Inventory Control Clerk is to provide the necessary material and scheduling support to ensure that the company meets its sales and production objectives. The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for ensuring correct inventory transactions within the software system. Filling sales orders, outside process orders, and picking and pulling parts for the assembly orders. Packaging of products, receiving products in and supporting the shop floor by fulfilling orders they require to run machines. Controlling inventory accuracy to utilize company resources to achieve maximum throughput.

Minimum Requirements:
Ability to work 1st shift (7am-3:15pm)
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Excellent visual perception to ensure fine detail quality inspection.
Full physical capability to sit, stand, walk, climb, reach, bend and maneuver around equipment and job stations.
The Inventory Control Clerk or Coordinator must have a high level of competence with other office computer applications
including but not limited to Microsoft Office and Infor.
At least 1 year of experience in a position that included material and inventory control, and shipping and receiving of materials and supplies in an industrial setting.
Ability to simultaneously schedule and coordinate multiple tasks according to priority.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
On-going communication with the Material Manager, Assembly Supervisor, Shipping & Receiving Supervisor, Quality Assurance, and Production Supervisors to ensure common understanding of immediate issues affecting throughput and the schedule.
Accurately picking quantities and parts for all types of orders
Works with shipping team to maintain a 95% on time to ship score.
Conducting weekly and monthly inventory audits and working with the Material Supervisor to adjust levels as needed.
Perform shipping and receiving operations if needed.
Assists in training of new hires in department.
Any other duties assigned.
Receiving, documenting, and monitoring all aspects of sales orders and inventory control.
Inventory accuracy, control, records and protection of goods in inventory.
Communicating with the area supervisors on priorities.
Responding in a timely fashion to inventory enquiries
Maintaining a 95% or higher on time order processing for all types of orders
Stocking levels of KanBan and bench side products
Representation of the company with external contacts including customer relations and vendor relations.
Accurately assigning serial numbers for sales order
Following all ATF and LMT requirements and processes for inventory control, lot-out, and processing.
