JOB SUMMARY
The Manager of Records Management serves as a key leader within the Customer Service Department, overseeing the Records Management Divisions. This position is responsible for ensuring essential functions such as timely management of public records requests, evidence handling, records retention and management of the Record Center, staff performance, and adherence to organizational policies and procedures on a day-to-day basis.
This role is pivotal in maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy, and productivity within the division, ensuring compliance with directives while aligning division-led initiatives with the operational and strategic objectives of the Customer Service Department.
Key responsibilities include establishing and monitoring performance measures that prioritize quality, accuracy, timeliness and productivity of the division. This role involves developing, implementing, evaluating, and ensuring compliance with Records Management Division policies and procedures.
The Manager plays a key role in guiding team performance through evaluations, training, and coaching, fostering a welcoming, collaborative and innovative work environment. In addition to team management, this position carries essential responsibilities typical of a division manager supporting departments with a focus on optimizing service to the community.
Through effective leadership, collaboration, and teamwork, the Manager of Records Management ensures that division-led projects and resource allocation align with organizational priorities and meet established goals from initiation to project closure. The Manager is also responsible for contributing to the budget development process, managing the approved budget, ensuring compliance with financial and procurement policies, and overseeing equipment, systems, resources, and facilities to maintain optimal division operations.

Salary: $58,656 - $73,253
Education: Required: Bachelor’s Degree Preferred: Master’s Degree or Juris Doctorate Relevant Field: Business Administration, Public Administration, Criminal and/or Civil Law |
Relevant Experience: Three (3) years of experience with court systems. Knowledge of basic principles and laws pertaining to civil and criminal law. Managing operations, with a track record of overseeing compliance and reporting within a highly regulated environment. Experience leading project teams, conducting analysis, and contributing to policy or procedure development. |
