What we’re looking for:

SHAZAM is looking for a Sales Solutions Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for uncovering market dynamics and customer behaviors through targeted research and analysis to support strategic sales planning. They translate findings into clear reports and collaborate across departments to ensure insights are aligned with business goals. By staying engaged with industry developments and building strong professional connections, they help the organization stay ahead of market shifts and competitive trends.

 

What you'll do: 

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive activities relevant to the financial services industry.
  • Analyze sales data and market intelligence to generate actionable insights that support sales strategy development and execution.
  • Prepare detailed reports to communicate research outcomes and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and product development to align research findings with business objectives.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of sales initiatives and market campaigns, providing feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Stay current with industry trends, market developments, and competitive landscape by engaging in ongoing professional development and leveraging trade publications and research tools to inform strategic insights.
  • Cultivate and maintain a professional network within the financial services industry to proactively gather market intelligence, share insights, and stay informed on emerging trends and competitive shifts.

 

What you need:

  • Minimum five years business or product development with at least five years of electronic payments for debit, credit, prepaid or core banking services is preferred.
  • Proven expertise in business analysis, sales planning, customer-focused selling, market awareness, and professional communication is essential.
  • Ability to explain and present data and information regarding SHAZAM products and services to internal (executive leadership, management, peers, etc.) and external (business community, clients and vendors, and state associations, etc.) audiences
  • Ability to work in a high-productivity environment, quickly adapting to change and prioritizing the needs of clients and management.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license to drive on Company business and provide documentation of current personal auto insurance ($300,000 in personal liability coverage is required).
