Role Overview: Mercy Occupational Medicine (MOM) Coordinator

As a Mercy Occupational Medicine Coordinator, you’ll help deliver occupational health services that keep our region’s workforce healthy and safe. You’ll coordinate scheduling, recordkeeping, and client communication for our occupational medicine program while also providing hands-on support for services such as drug screens, vaccinations, health fairs, and wellness clinics.

This role offers 20 hours per week dedicated to Occupational Medicine coordination and 20 hours per week working clinically in one of our urgent care centers.

What You’ll Do:

  • Collaborate closely with the Mercy Occupational Medicine Manager to ensure smooth delivery of occupational health services
  • Assist in developing and maintaining relationships with local businesses and industrial clients
  • Schedule and track on-site and in-clinic screenings, tests, and exams
  • Support on-site and in-clinic occupational health activities such as drug screening, vaccinations, health fairs, and wellness clinics
  • Ensure accurate documentation, charge entry, and HIPAA compliance
  • Collaborate with clinic staff to maintain consistent, high-quality occupational health delivery
  • Participate in the Screen 24/7 on-call rotation as needed

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Clinical background required — Nurse, Medical Assistant, Paramedic, EMT-I, or similar
  • 1–3 years of experience in a healthcare or occupational medicine setting
  • Strong organization, multitasking, and communication skills
  • Proficiency with computer systems and electronic medical records
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and compassion in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated integrity, empathy, and commitment to Mercy’s core values
