Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build and support products movement and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Warehouse Analyst located in Austin, TX.
The Warehouse Supervisor would be accountable for providing data analysis to help warehouse activities including shipping and receiving raw materials and/or finished goods and maintaining inventory and associated records.
What a typical day looks like:
- Assists in auditing data for accuracy and preparing summary reports, spreadsheets, graphics and charts based on the investigation of data.
- May assist in the preparation of recommendations to management based on the investigation of data.
- Collects, compiles, analyzes and presents various types of data. Also, may create and/or maintain databases in support of data collection.
- Prepares summary reports, spreadsheets, and charts based on investigation of data from multiple sources,
- Audits data. Test and resolves data integrity issues, including but not limited to quotations.
- Proactively identifies and escalates potential issues related to metrics.
- Responsible for process/communication improvements relative to metric tracking activities.
- Tracks warehouse management performance, and initiate corrective actions when required.
- Design, manage and control all data investigation tools
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- Typically requires 2+ years of experience working for a service industry shipping or related field/ experience in materials or related field.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals and technical procedures.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and data to senior management, and respond to questions from managers, customers and suppliers.
- Advance excel skills preferred , should be able to work with excel sheets, v-look ups , Pivot tables and calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentages.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills required. An understanding of the electronic component markets, price trends and technologies desired.
- Ability to operate: telephones, data entry, office software to include, word processing, spreadsheets, presentation packages, and relevant database/ business systems
- Professional work ethics and ability to work with confidentiality .
