ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND OBJECTIVES:
The Continuing Education Coordinator will develop, formulate, and administer all Continuing Education programs. He/She will also provide daily support for all Center Director and all Continuing Education programs. The position will also consist of teaching job training courses, along with academic advising, recruiting, enrolling, and tracking all other continuing education programs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:- Works with the Center Director to establish all Continuing Education related courses, programs, workshops, seminars, and customized training. Assist the center director in marketing and promoting both current and new Continuing Education courses.
- Assists in the developing, establishing and scheduling all Continuing Education training and programs for the local funding agencies. Presents above to Center Director quarterly.
- Assists the Center Director with recruiting, hiring, and training faculty of all Continuing Education courses. Act as a liaison between the Lake Region Center and the Continuing Education Department at Main Campus.
- Serves as liaison between college and potential students; area school districts, business and industry; workforce and economic development agencies.
- Supports local business and industry by identifying need and creating solutions through educational and contract training programs. Processes applications and transcripts for enrollment and verifies for completeness and accuracy, screen students for eligibility. Enter new inquiries and applications into Jenzabar system.
- Maintains constant interaction and follow-up with students and maintains all relevant record keeping and tracking.
- Teaches I Instructs job-training courses as needed.

- Partners with payroll to monitor the hours of part-time Continuing Education employees at the Lake Region Center.
- Supports local business and industry by identifying needs and creating solutions through educational and contract training programs. Assist TAA students in completing all forms and tracking materials.
- Provides financial advisement and assistance to continuing education students regarding the Careerlinks, loans, WIA, and/or other information related to finances.
- Provides Academic Advising, training students with variety of information resources including, but not limited to, college catalogs, courses/program selection guides, cost or payment plan information, and job opportunities.
- Partners with internal and external constituents.
- Performs all other duties assigned by the Center Director.

EDUCATION:- Associate's degree in Business or related field required.

EXPERIENCE:- Prior experience coordinating continuing education programs and/or instructing job-training courses, required.
