Finish Carpenter en None

We are currently hiring Finish Carpenter in Newport News, VA. The ideal Finish Carpenter has 3+ years finish carpentry experience with a deep understanding of finishing techniques and has to ability to execute projects with precision. Experience with aluminum trim a plus. You will be responsible for all aspects of finish carpentry from intricate trim work to custom cabinetry etc. Pay is $25 - $30 based on skill set and experience.

Finish Carpenter Responsibilities:

• Perform all aspects of finish carpentry i.e. baseboards, crown molding, door and window casings, wainscoting, cabinetry installation, door installation (including pre-hung and custom such as pocket doors), hardware installation, and custom millwork.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
• Inspect finished work to ensure it meets or exceeds quality standards and client expectations. Identify and correct any deficiencies promptly.
• Maintain professional communication with clients, addressing questions and concerns in a respectful and informative manner.

Finish Carpenter Qualifications:

• 3+ years experience as a finish carpenter
• Experience installing aluminum trim
• OSHA 10/30 is a plus but not required
• Must have your own tools 
• Your own reliable transportation
