The Cashier checks out customers, orders, receives and stocks merchandise and food items.

Responsibilities
The Cashier responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
* Orders and stocks merchandise and maintains appropriate inventory levels.
* Cleans and dusts shelves and straightens products on shelves.
* Assists customers.
* Verifies cash drawer.
* Prepares money for deposit.
* Opens and closes the Gift Shop
The Cashier reports to the Gift Shop Manager or assigned Supervisor.
This position may have additional or varied physical demand and/or respiratory fit test requirements. Minimal exposure to hazardous risks including the use of a box knife. Exposed to frequent interruptions, high sales volume, requests for information by and for staff, volunteers, general public, in person or on the telephone and financial deadlines, etc.
Frequently must work in overcrowded work room storage area when unpacking, marking and storing new merchandise.
