Job Summary
The Team Member is responsible for performing a variety of tasks within the Tray Pack Department to support production and fulfill customer orders. This includes, but is not limited to, dumping trays and assisting on the production line. The team member is expected to take a proactive role in ensuring safe and high-quality products by promptly addressing any safety or quality concerns.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Repeatedly lift and dump large trays of product (up to 50 pounds) into metal trays.
Shovel product from bins into trays as needed.
Follow proper lifting techniques to prevent injury.
Restack and properly orient empty trays on pallets.
Actively monitor for downgrades, contamination, or foreign materials and report any issues immediately.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Assist on the line (e.g., styling or inspecting) when not dumping product.
Education and Experience
Previous experience in a similar production or manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.
No formal education is required.
Language Skills
Ability to speak English and/or Spanish.
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, work instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
