CONSUMER LOAN UNDERWRITER
Job Overview: The candidate for this position will assist in organizing consumer loan packages for internal underwriting, while adhering to regulatory compliance requirements.
The candidate for this position will be responsible for:
- Analyzing credit reports, approving or denying loan applications, and marketing additional Fidelity Bank products and services to our customers.
- Daily interaction with internal customers to convey credit decisions, review necessary documentation and arrange loan closings while making sound credit decisions.
Requirements for this position include:
- A high school diploma (or equivalent).
- Two years of lending experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and excellent public relation skills.
- The ability to work late and/or flexible hours.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Lending experience with an emphasis in consumer real estate.
