We are excited to be adding a CNC Programmer/Nester to the MAC Trailer Team. The CNC Programmer/Nester is primarily responsible for programming the burning operations for the Manufacturing Facility. This equipment consists of plasma, laser, and CNC routing table operations. The CNC-P/N is responsible for the scheduling and efficient use of materials being processed for production. Additional responsibilities could include programming for CNC Press Brakes and programming of CNC machining cells.
Please note that shift hours are Mon - Thurs 7am - 5:30pm with additional overtime.

What you will do:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Creates and maintains part and nesting files for CNC burning operations.
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and or work orders to determine optimal tooling and
machine processes. - Analyze raw material structures before the manufacturing stage to determine the most
effective usage for optimal scrap utilization. - Troubleshooting issues during the manufacturing process and adjusting machine cutting
paths or settings to optimize efficiency while maintaining quality. - Take prototype models/prints and convert them into programs for manufactured goods.
- Maintain library of programs and configurations
- Organizes and maintains large amounts of paperwork and work orders.
- Complies with all company policies and procedures including environmental, health and
safety. - Able to follow predetermined schedules for programming.
- Able to help multiple facilities.
- Manage all remnants for plate cutting additional parts for proper utilization.
- Communicate with supervisor about what is going to the table and work that has moved
up in the schedule. (Keep each week separate) - Print labels for all work orders with part number, quantity, and line the part is going to.
- Any other duties assigned.

schedule form. - Possess moderate aptitude for mechanics.
- Previous work experience with CAD/CAM software.
- Ability to read and interpret design blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Should be an organized individual.
- Should have a positive and professional attitude.
- Available to work weekends and overtime.
Physical Demands
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, including being physically capable of
maneuvering self throughout, work area, product, equipment. - Ability to sit for long periods of time as well as stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel,
crouch or crawl. - Ability to lift 50 lbs.
