Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using Ab Initio (GDE, EME, Co Operate, Plans).
Optimize and troubleshoot Ab Initio graphs for performance and scalability.
Collaborate with data architects and business analysts to translate requirements into robust solutions.
Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and deployment activities.
Manage job scheduling using Control-M and support production operations.
Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices in data engineering.
Skills & Experience:
6 10 years of hands-on experience in Ab Initio ETL development.
Strong knowledge of Ab Initio GDE, EME, CoOperate, and Plans.
Proficiency in SQL and relational databases (Oracle, Teradata, or Snowflake).
Experience with Unix/Linux scripting and Control-M job scheduling.
Good understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL design principles.
Exposure to cloud platforms (Snowflake, AWS) is an added advantage.
Education:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
