Investment Specialist – Trust & Investment Management Group/Team

We would like to talk to you about joining our Trust & Investment Management Team!

In this role you will: 

• Provide administrative, organizational, and customer service support for our Investment and Trust Advisors/Officers relating to investment management and financial planning assistance. 
• Coordinate all operational aspects of investment management functions including the preparation of reports utilizing proprietary investment management software, analysis tools for portfolio management, and estate planning software. 
• Respond to client inquiries and/or requests for information regarding the progress on their investment goals and the performance of their accounts, financial markets and portfolio management strategies.

• Knowledge of finance and financial services industry products & services
• Excellent technical skills with Microsoft Office suite, Outlook, and the ability to learn specialized investment software. 
• Ability to occasionally travel and attend early morning and evening meetings. 
• Certification in financial planning is a plus! 
• A combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelors’ degree in accounting, finance, economics or related field and knowledge typically gained through a minimum of 2 years of experience in financial planning, taxation, legal or investment advisory services.

We prefer that you have a background in the financial services industry and knowledge of basic investment/trade fundamentals, the financial market and basic economics.

Physical Requirements:  Ability to stand, bend, stoop, sit, walk, twist and turn. Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally. Indoor office work environment with a majority of time sitting at a desk.

Compensation:  

The hiring range for this position is to $28.00 to $37.00 per hour. The compensation offered will fall within this range, commensurate with the candidate's applicable experience, education and skills.
