Summary
The Department of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) at Regis College seeks an Adjunct Professor for the Spring semester, specializing in Cybersecurity, to teach CYS 407, Cybersecurity Capstone Project. In this class, students must design and complete their own secure software systems and evaluate other students' projects by locating flaws and weaknesses in them. Classes begin January 20th, 2026. This course will be taught in person on the Weston, MA campus.
Essential Functions
- Teach CYS 407 in-person
- Engage with all responsibilities associated with teaching the section: direct oversight of student work, grading, office hours, overall student classroom, and academic assessment.

Requirements
- Minimum requirement: An earned MS in Cybersecurity or similar; PhDs welcome.
- Demonstrated evidence of prior teaching experience at the undergraduate level.
- Commitment to creating an inclusive classroom learning environment in keeping with the University's commitment to inclusive excellence in a diverse educational community.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with other STEM faculty in terms of curriculum and assessment.
- Demonstrated familiarity with academic assessment.
- Familiarity with the learning management system Moodle is preferred but not required.
- Ability to uphold the university’s commitment to inclusive excellence in a diverse educational community.
Working Conditions/Physical Demands
- Normal classroom environment, not subject to extremes in noise, odors, etc.
