We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst (remote) to join our team of talented IT professionals. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with a proven ability to use data analysis to solve complex business challenges. This individual thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and can effortlessly transition between strategic long-term projects and ad-hoc tasks. This role involves leading the analysis, evaluation, and documentation of intricate business processes, requirements, and system needs. The individual will conduct research on existing systems to identify improvements and recommend innovative solutions. As a subject matter expert, they will provide crucial guidance and support to end-users, stakeholders, and development teams.
Salary Range: starting at $90,000 (DOE)
What You’ll Do
- Leads the analysis, evaluation, and documentation of complex business processes, requirements, and system needs.
- Collaborates with stakeholders to understand their business goals and translates them into system requirement and specifications.
- Leads and conducts thorough research and analysis of existing systems, identify areas for improvement, and recommends innovative solutions.
- Develops and maintains detailed functional and technical design documents, use cases, business process models and other system-related documentation.
- Aligns technical solutions with business requirements, strategic plans, and established standards and provides technical guidance to ensure that installed systems are working effectively and that proposed systems will meet the organization’s future needs.
- Act as a subject matter expert for business systems, providing guidance and support to end-users, stakeholders, and development teams.
- Collaborates with IT teams to oversee system integrations, data migrations, and system upgrades.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to business systems analysis.
- Perform other duties assigned by Information Technology Director.
Qualifications
What You’ll Need
Possession of one of the following backgrounds:
- Completion of bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a concentration related to computer science, information systems, information management or business.
- At least 5 years of work experience as a business analyst, systems analyst or system administrator.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business analyst, or system analyst role
- Demonstrated skills in analysis, organization, and problem-solving; superior abilities to assess complex IT issues, develop effective solutions, efficiently prioritize task, and smoothly adapt to changes within business and technological environments; and consistent willingness to improve or refine pertinent knowledge or skills.
- Knowledge of principles that relate to the position.
- Aptitude in verbal and written communication.
- Possession of United States proof of citizenship or right to work in the United States.
- Possession of a driver license or analogous identification.
- Willingness to participate in Hospital orientation and education al in-service.
