About the Role:
The Foreman - Paint position in Beaumont, TX, is a leadership role responsible for overseeing and coordinating all painting operations on-site to ensure high-quality finishes and adherence to project timelines. This role involves managing a team of painters, scheduling work assignments, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. The Foreman will serve as the primary point of contact between management, clients, and the painting crew, facilitating clear communication and efficient workflow. A critical aspect of this role is to monitor the quality of work, provide technical guidance, and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the painting process. Ultimately, the Foreman ensures that all painting projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards of craftsmanship and client satisfaction.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial or commercial painting.
- At least 2 years of supervisory or foreman experience in a painting or construction environment.
- Strong knowledge of painting techniques, surface preparation, and coating materials.
- Familiarity with safety standards and regulations related to painting operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in industrial painting or coatings application.
- Experience working in an industrial or refinery setting.
- Proficiency with project management software or scheduling tools.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily painting activities, ensuring work is completed according to project specifications and quality standards.
- Assign tasks and manage the painting crew’s schedule to optimize productivity and meet project deadlines.
- Inspect surfaces and materials to ensure proper preparation and application techniques are followed.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations on the job site.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and team members to report progress and resolve any issues promptly.
- Maintain inventory of painting supplies and equipment, ordering materials as needed to avoid delays.
- Train and mentor painting staff on best practices, safety procedures, and new techniques or products.
- Document work performed, including daily reports, timekeeping, and incident records.

The Foreman will utilize their technical painting skills daily to assess surface conditions and determine the appropriate preparation and coating methods, ensuring durability and aesthetic quality.
