We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Events Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the planning and execution of various events, ranging from corporate meetings to social gatherings. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail, ensuring every aspect of our events runs smoothly and successfully.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and coordination of events from start to finish.
- Manage event logistics, including venue selection, catering, and equipment rental.
- Create and maintain event timelines, ensuring all tasks are completed on schedule.
- Communicate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate contracts and follow up on event details.
- Assist in the promotion of events, including managing social media and email marketing efforts.
- Support event setup and breakdown, ensuring a seamless execution on the day of the event.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Event Management, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in event planning or assistance is a plus.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with event management software.
