Qualifications:

  • Education Required: Bachelor’s degree in any field.
  • Education Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, sociology, human services/development, or child development.
  • Experience Required: at least 1 year of experience working with children with mental health issues.
  • Experience Preferred: 2 years’ experience working with child mental health.
  • A valid driver’s license in good standing and a vehicle with appropriate auto insurance are required. Must be able to pass the motor vehicle record background check.


Position Specifics

  • Typically reflecting a 32-hour work week.
  • Position Hours: Monday to Thursday OR Tuesday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. A flexible schedule is required, which may include occasional evenings and weekends.
  • Full-time position.
  • Nonexempt hourly position at $27.24 per hour estimated at $45,327.36 annually.
  • Comprehensive benefits are offered.

  • Providers may be assigned to deliver services in community locations such as homes, schools, and other relevant settings.


Position Details

The Provider - Behavioral Health Intervention Service position delivers skills training/psychosocial rehabilitative skills training to children and their families to remediate functional deficits related to and improve child functioning impacted by mental health symptoms.  Providers are responsible for service authorization, planning, delivery, monitoring, and documentation related to remedial services.  Providers are responsible for coordinating remedial services delivery with other service providers/support, including Family Resources programs, as appropriate, and participating in utilization and clinical reviews as assigned for individual clients. When providing services in a residential or other milieu setting, Behavioral Health Intervention Service providers are expected to operate as part of the treatment team, to maintain a safe, predictable, and therapeutic living environment, and, to the extent possible, assist with ensuring client safety and program safety as requested in crisis/critical situations.  Providers will deliver service in community locations, including client homes, as assigned. This position requires reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance. These responsibilities are carried out under the direction of the Director– Clinical Services. This position will need to have a flexible schedule that may include working some nights, weekends, and holidays.
