Our fans and subscribers come to Pogo for fresh content, daily challenges, great events, new games, and a live service that delivers!We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Web Game Engineer to help develop and maintain our library of single player and multiplayer HTML5 games and game servers. This is a hybrid remote/in-office role.As a member of the Pogo engineering team, you will help develop and maintain our library of single player and multiplayer HTML5 games and game servers. In this important role, you will report directly to the Technical Director and have a high level of interaction with engineering team members, game designers, development directors, producers and external game development contractors. You are the technical expert on all things games for the Pogo studio.Important Responsibilities (What you will do)Help in development and integration of new games on the Pogo platformHelp in maintenance of existing games on the Pogo platformImplement and maintain internal game tools like level editor tools.Collaborate with partners to translate requirements into technical design, provide estimates and identify/communicate risksWrite high-quality code and participate in design and code reviews to maintain development standardsTroubleshoot, reproduce, and propose/create solutions to complex problems that arise in the codebase, with peers, and interface with the QA team to help create testing solutionsResearch and pioneer improvements to existing game and platform codebasesQualifications (What you know how to do)Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/related field, or equivalent training/professional experience4+ years of work experience in game developmentProficient in important features of the game, gameplay, 3D spaces / physics, animation systems, and shadersExperience working with game engines such as Unity / Phaser / Cocos CreatorProficient in design patterns, algorithms, data structures, design principles and coding best practicesProficient in testing, troubleshooting, and optimizing game performanceProficient in JavaScript/ES6+, HTML5, Java or .NetNice To HaveExperience with CSS3, Node, React, Angular or similar frameworksExperience in version control tools (Git, Bitbucket, etc.)Experience with a non-relational / noSQL database such as Elasticsearch, MongoDB, or DynamoDBExperience with Linux or Ubuntu Solicitar ahora
