This position offers a unique opportunity to join Ardian Infrastructure's investment team as an Analyst, which today manages $41 billion in assets and has made more than 70 investments since its launch. You will be based in the London office, assigned to European generalist funds and will have the opportunity to collaborate with team members from all offices (nearly 70 people worldwide). You may be required to travel abroad.
You will participate in the main activities of the team:
Investment
Contribution to the review of investment opportunities and the detailed analysis of the selected targets
Financial modeling in Excel: business plan, capital structure, financing, valuation
Participation in the due diligence process of investment targets (including the management of certain projects independently)
Assistance in the preparation of legal documentation for transactions (including financing and structuring aspects)
Preparation of internal valuation presentations and drafting of memoranda for the investment committee
Participation in the syndication process with investors of European generalist funds
Asset management
Monitoring of the portfolio companies in which Ardian Infrastructure funds are invested, in particular preparation of governance body meetings (supervisory board and committees)
Updating the financial models used as a basis for the quarterly valuation of our investments
Preparation of internal and investor reporting documents for our European generalist funds
Contribution to the disposal processes of portfolio companies where applicable
Transversal
Research on new sectors or geographies
Participation in the fundraising process
Participation in the consolidated reporting process at the portfolio level
Contribution to specific quantitative analysis or transformation/monitoring projects of our portfolio (decarbonization, digitalization...)
Profile
2 to 3 years of full-time experience in a tier 1 investment banking division or private equity firm. Ideally, experience in the infrastructure sector
Outstanding academic qualifications with relevant coursework from a leading university or business school
Fluency in English; ideally a second European language
Strong previous experience working on and having ownership of complex financial models
Interest in energy, digital and transport sectors
