The Vice President of Strategy and Partnerships is a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for driving strategic growth, fostering collaborative partnerships, and aligning organizational priorities with long-term goals. This role provides executive oversight for corporate partnerships, information technology, marketing and communications, fund development, and strategic affiliations. The VP will lead cross-functional initiatives that enhance the hospital’s mission, visibility, and sustainability in a rapidly evolving healthcare landscape.

Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Public Health, or related field required.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare or related sectors.
• Proven track record in strategic planning, partnership development, and cross-functional leadership.
• Strong understanding of healthcare operations, regulatory environment, and emerging industry trends.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Preferred Attributes:
• Experience in a community hospital or non-profit healthcare setting.
• Familiarity with rural health challenges and opportunities.
• Visionary thinker with a collaborative leadership style.

Strategic Leadership

  • Partner with the CEO in the development, implementation, and monitoring of the system’s strategic plan.
  • Identify and evaluate business opportunities, service lines, and partnerships that align with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to ensure the alignment of departmental strategies with overall system objectives.

Corporate and Health System Partnerships

  • Cultivate and support strategic relationships with clinical partners, and community organizations.
  • Support negotiations and execution of partnership agreements, joint ventures, and collaborative initiatives.
  • Represent the hospital in external forums to strengthen its presence and influence.

Information Technology

  • Provide executive oversight of IT strategy, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.
  • Ensure alignment of technology initiatives with clinical needs, operational requirements, and organizational strategic priorities.
  • Champion innovation operational efficiency and clinical excellence across the organization.

Marketing and Communications

  • Oversee brand strategy, public relations, internal communications, and digital engagement.
  • Guide the development of marketing campaigns that promote services, enhance reputation, and support growth.

Fund Development

  • Lead philanthropic strategy and donor engagement in collaboration with the Executive Director of Fund Development.
  • Cultivate relationships with major donors, foundations, and community stakeholders.
  • Ensure alignment of fundraising priorities with strategic initiatives.
