As a Primary Support Professional for Non-Residential services, you will work directly with individuals receiving Independent Living Skills Development, Day Services, Community Networking, and Personal Assistant Services. Your role is crucial in assisting clients to achieve their personal goals and enhance their overall well-being by providing individualized support and training in various life skills.

Key Responsibilities:
· Empower clients by providing direct support and training in essential independent living skills such as personal hygiene, money management, safety, household tasks, and meal preparation, all in accordance with their Individual Support Plans.
· Facilitate client engagement in community life by accompanying them to medical appointments, recreational activities, church, and other community resources.
· Maintain meticulous records of client progress, accurately documenting achievements and challenges related to their Individual Support Plan goals and objectives.
· Ensure the proper administration of medications by strictly adhering to Department of Mental Health Medication Administration Certification guidelines when providing medical assistance services.
· Collaborate effectively with the Program Coordinator to gather necessary billing information, ensuring timely and accurate submission to meet accounting deadlines.
· Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized support plans, ensuring all client needs and preferences are thoroughly addressed.
· Stay up-to-date with all required certifications, including CPR, Standard First Aid, and medication administration, to ensure the highest quality of care.
Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:
· Must be 18 years of age.
· High school diploma or GED required.
· One year of experience in the field of intellectual/developmental disabilities, OR successful completion of training in the Missouri Quality Outcomes approved by the Division of DD regional office in lieu of experience.
Additional Qualifications:
· Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance.
· Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
· Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
· Ability to communicate effectively with clients, employees, family members, and community contacts, utilizing person-centered language.
· Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
· Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
· Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
· Must have a reliable means of communication.
· Must possess skills to read and understand written materials.
· Must possess skills to write clearly and legibly.
Physical Requirements
· Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, or pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
· Repetitive movements of hands, fingers, and arms for typing and/or writing during work shift.
· Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods.
