Job Summary

 

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic part-time Chemistry teacher to teach one section (33%) at one of our academies for the Spring semester. Ideal candidates will have a strong foundation in chemistry concepts, laboratory safety, and scientific inquiry, along with a passion for fostering curiosity and critical thinking in the sciences. In this role, you will guide students through hands-on learning experiences, problem-solving activities, and real-world applications of chemistry. Join us in empowering students to develop scientific literacy, collaboration skills, and a lifelong interest in STEM.

 

Requirements / Qualifications

 

Possession of a valid California Single Subject credential in Chemistry

 

AND 

 

English Learners Authorization

Salary

$71,571 to $103,136 (To start yearly based on full-time assignment. Part-time assignments will be prorated)

  • Pay dependent on experience
    • Candidates with two or more years of full-time K-12 public school experience start on step 3. (This is the maximum starting step)

This position involves teaching one section of Chemistry (currently scheduled for 4th period; schedule subject to change).
