Primary Accountabilities
• Develop an understanding of the organization’s business environment, corporate culture and structure to support work initiatives.
Develop an understanding of the enterprise vendor ecosystem, procurement strategy and related processes and technology.
• Open to and supports new ideas, systems and procedures. Generate creative ideas and actions in response to changing situations.
• Supports, plans and executes work on small projects with direction from management.
• May assume the duties normally performed in the department, alongside professionals who perform these roles including spend analytics, market research, category management, sourcing, contract management, and vendor management activities
• Presents project results to management and/or department personnel.
• Performs analytical work within the assigned functional area.
• Other duties as assigned.
Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements
• Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support, or service.
• Must be currently seeking a baccalaureate, masters, or doctoral degree and be enrolled in an accredited college or university on a full-time basis or as required by the university's co-op program.
• Must have achieved 24 semester hours of academic credit before beginning the first work term.
