Description

About Two Roads Brewing Company
At Two Roads, we’ve always believed that the road less traveled is the one worth taking. Since our founding, we’ve pushed boundaries with bold flavors, authentic experiences, and a spirit of adventure that resonates in every pint we pour and every venue we operate.

Our Food Hall + Bar is no exception. It’s where elevated tavern food, brewery-inspired flavors, and exceptional hospitality come together to create a one-of-a-kind guest experience.

We’re seeking a Sous Chef / Kitchen Manager who is organized, communicative, and proactive — someone hungry to learn, eager to lead, and ready to help us deliver consistency and quality across every plate.

Position Overview
The Sous Chef / Kitchen Manager is a hands-on role supporting daily kitchen operations in the Food Hall. This position works closely with the Director of Culinary to ensure prep, ordering, and service run smoothly, while also providing leadership and oversight when the Director is focused on events.

This is not about reinventing the wheel — our recipes, prep sheets, and systems are already built. What we need is someone who can execute consistently, communicate clearly, and keep the team organized and on track.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and oversee daily kitchen service, keeping operations efficient and organized.
  • Lead and train kitchen staff, ensuring prep lists and par levels are executed.
  • Communicate clearly with the Director of Culinary and team about prep, ordering, and scheduling.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and organization.
  • Step in as “eyes on the kitchen” when the Director is focused on off-site events.
  • Model professionalism and set the tone for a positive, respectful workplace culture.

Qualifications

  • Prior kitchen experience (line cook, lead cook, or similar) required; supervisory experience a plus.
  • Strong skills in time management, organization, and communication.
  • Able to think independently, make decisions, and explain reasoning.
  • Professional, positive attitude; hungry to learn and receptive to coaching.
  • Culinary school or community college program a plus, but not required.
  • ServSafe (or equivalent) required; can be obtained upon hire.

What We Offer

  • Competitive pay: $21–$26/hr plus benefits (health, vision, dental, 401k, etc.)
  • Beer stipend, case drops, and merchandise credit in the Company Store
  • A collaborative, supportive work environment inside one of the Northeast’s leading craft breweries
  • The chance to grow your leadership skills and make a direct impact in a busy, guest-facing kitchen
