The Data Scientist’s primary responsibility is analyzing large, often unstructured datasets to uncover insights, build predictive models, and solve complex business problems using statistical and machine learning technique.
Responsibilities:Where You'll Make an Impact:
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations within large datasets.
- Develop predictive & prescriptive models and algorithms to solve complex business problems.
- Implement machine learning techniques for supervised and unsupervised tasks.
- Perform residual analysis to validate model performance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Communicate findings and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences through clear and compelling visualizations and presentations.
Skills to Help You Succeed:
- 2 years of experience in data analysis and predictive modeling.
- Proficiency in common Python modules for data manipulation and analysis.
- Experience contributing to GitHub repositories.
- Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and techniques.
- Familiarity with SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Must-Haves:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
- Must have the ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by any applicable regulatory entity as may be required to perform assigned duties, or as required by Live’s operating standards.
