In this role you will install and maintain all machinery and building maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Train and supervise employees of the maintenance department
- Negotiate contracts with outside vendors for execution of maintenance work beyond the everyday operations.
- Ensure operational efficiency of electrical equipment and mechanical systems through timely inspection and repair.
- Manage relationships with contractors and service providers.
- Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary.
- Monitor electrical and hydraulic systems of facilities to ensure functionality.
- Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities.
- Maintain maintenance logs and report on daily activities.
- Ensure that plant equipment and facilities are fit for purpose and to provide proactive support/solutions when required.
- Ensure health, regulatory and safety policies are complied with.
- Communicate with department managers for scheduling required service.
Qualifications
- 10+ years' experience in maintenance management role
- Strong knowledge of engineering concepts, including electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems.
- Experience in planning maintenance operations, and utilization of a PMs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent leadership and management skills
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with staff members
- Competent in problem solving, team building, planning and decision making.
