PRIMARY PURPOSE
This position is responsible for overall strategic planning, implementation and success of the US sales effort specifically targeting the Western US territory. Emphasis is to ensure revenue and profitability goals are attained. Determine viable new business distribution in cardio-respiratory health management. Analyze sales efforts for the pulmonary, cardiology, primary care, wellness and education markets to ensure revenue targets are met on a monthly basis. Design and implement sales incentive plans, which are a catalyst for high sales performance resulting in successfully meeting the company's profit and revenue goals. Optimize pricing strategies to ensure the attainment of corporate profitability objectives.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS- Reports to: Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing
- Supervises: Domestic Sales Organization
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy that promotes MGCD technology surpasses the competition and focuses the company's resources to maximize the current opportunities and ensure growth.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plan to grow existing market share and expand where appropriate into the new markets such as Primary Care, Prevention/Alternate site markets.
- Design and implement sales incentive plans, which are a catalyst for high sales performance resulting in successfully meeting the company's profit and revenue goals.
- Manage and retain sales personnel bringing focus, discipline and increased revenue to ensure maximum revenue growth and achievement of corporate sales plan. Partners with Sales Services department to be productive and efficient support team to augment the sales efforts.
- Integrate and match the company's technology base with the broadest and most profitable market.
- Present accurate forecast data for operations to schedule build to meet customer expectations.
- The first 6 months of the position will focus heavily on the Customer Experience and working with the Sales Consultants.
- Accept other responsibilities as assigned.
- Complete training as identified by standard operating procedures and procedural work instructions.
- Regular attendance is an essential job function.
- Follow all Company policies and procedures relating to confidential propriety information (CPI) including but not limited to what is outlined in the Confidentiality and Non-Solicitation Agreement.
- INTERNAL: Contact with all departments.
- EXTERNAL: Contact with customers.
- BS in science, marketing, business discipline or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years experience in sales with 5 or more in a management position.
- Ability to collaborate with others to arrive at appropriate conclusion utilizing compromise, persuasion, rationale and diplomacy.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Responds purposefully in all situations. Readily exhibits a sense of personal empowerment; has confidence in ability to influence and create positive change. Polished and professional demeanor. Skilled negotiator.
- Consistently determines a course of action, which secures customer allegiance and supports the company's profitability. Ability to direct and manage national sales meetings effectively.
- Knowledge of cardiopulmonary/gas exchange physiology and pathophysiology required. Knowledge of benefits and value of system features as they pertain to cardio-respiratory health management markets.
- Proven proficiency to leverage customer relationship management systems (CRM) to increase leads, effectively close deals, drive customer satisfaction and safeguard margins.
- Will be required to regularly sit for extended periods of time; use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, talk, hear and see. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or reach with hands and arms. The environment is fast-paced; time pressured and requires accuracy. Will be required to regularly multi-task between projects, move throughout the office building and effectively communicate. The normal environment is quiet and typical of an open office setting with some areas that may be louder at times; along with time spent on the production floor, where environment can be louder due to equipment running.
- 50% remote travel
