Description
Senior Accountant
Snap-Tite Hose – a leading manufacturer of high-quality fire, agricultural, and industrial hoses – is seeking a Staff or Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team. This position will play a key role in supporting our continued business growth and ensuring accurate, timely financial reporting. Title and responsibilities will be commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
- Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and related management reports.
- Manage and analyze fixed assets, cost accounting, and expense control to improve financial performance.
- Support monthly and year-end closing, external audits, and tax filings.
- Maintain and enhance internal control procedures to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Assist in annual budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Solid knowledge of cost accounting and inventory management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
