 The Material Handler for tug carts Operations plays a crucial role in our manufacturing process. The primary responsibility of this role is to safely and efficiently move finished goods within the facility using a sit-down forklift and a Tug cart

Role and Responsibilities / Essential Functions

· Team Communication: Effectively communicate with colleagues to coordinate tasks and ensure operational smoothness.

· Goods Transportation: Operate sit-down forklifts for loading and moving finished products.

· Oversized Pallet Management: Stage oversized pallets in a structured manner to facilitate easy pickup.

· Material Staging: Ensure a steady supply of raw materials to production operators to avoid workflow interruptions.

· Order Verification: Confirm the accuracy of orders prior to dispatch.

· Safety Compliance: Adherence to all safety guidelines to maintain a secure work environment.

Requirements

Required Skills / Abilities / Competencies

• High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• Valid Drivers license 
• A minimum of 1-2 years of forklift experience is required.
• Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic math and measurement skills are essential.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
• Capacity to remain standing throughout the shift.

Education and Experience

• High School diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
• A minimum of 1 year of sustained employment in a manufacturing setting is highly preferred.

Mental/Physical Requirements

• Lifting Capacity: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. using correct lifting techniques.
• Heat Tolerance: Capable of working in high-heat conditions.
• Mobility: Role includes occasional stooping, kneeling, and crouching, in addition to continuous standing and movement within the facility.
