About the Team

The HPE business unit is part of Ingram Micro’s Advanced Solutions portfolio. The portfolio spans hybrid compute and storage solutions, networking technologies through Aruba and Juniper, and the innovative Greenlake platform focused on recurring revenue. Greenlake aligns seamlessly with Ingram Micro North America’s strategy to grow and scale consumption-based services.

Role Overview

As a Development Executive, you will be responsible for driving depth and breadth across the HPE Greenlake category and partner ecosystem. You’ll leverage data insights to identify growth opportunities, cultivate strong relationships with partners and vendors, and execute sales strategies that expand market share.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a category strategy to drive growth and new business development.
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities within existing partners and attract new partners.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with HPE and strategic partners to secure favorable terms and accelerate growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, product management, operations) to align strategies.
  • Engage directly with customers to understand needs and drive exceptional experiences.
  • Promote usage of the Xvantage platform among reseller partners and vendors.
  • Build full solution offerings across a portfolio of vendors.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially with complex contracts and statements of work.
  • Business acumen and communication skills, with the ability to present effectively in both 1:1 and group settings.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence across teams and stakeholders.

  • Proven business development experience.
  • Experience selling as-a-service, consumption-based solutions.
  • Background in finance or financial modeling.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Strategic selling, order management, and project management expertise.
  • Advanced understanding of Ingram Micro’s solutions and value proposition.
  • Proven track record of year-over-year sales growth.
  • Strong financial acumen and forecasting ability.
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly for in-person customer engagements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma (or equivalent) required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum six years of strategic, outside sales or account management experience, preferably in a related industry.
  • Alternatively, four years of technology or distribution experience in sales or customer service

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $67,300.00 - $114,400.00 per year.

The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.

These awards are allocated based on position level and individual performance.
