We are looking for an experienced building maintenance technician to join our existing crew. We have several facilities within a 2 miles radius that needs maintenance and upkeep. 40 hours a week FT Monday - Friday and can be called in for emergencies.
Our maintenance team is:
- Responsible for overall maintenance of the buildings, including routine maintenance on building systems.
- Responsible for overseeing all operating systems in the buildings, e.g., fire alarms, boiler inspections.
- Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Examples may include repairing drywall, painting, and repairing doors and other building fixtures.
- Assist the Operations Manager in an annual review of building needs and in subsequent alterations when indicated.
- Support and adhere to the NPI Code of Ethics, work rules, policies, plans and procedures to promote a safe and secure environment for the residents, visitors and employees of New Paths.
- Responsible for answering emergency service calls after hours.
- Other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.
REQUIRED ABILITIES AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school degree or equivalent.
Five years’ experience in building maintenance.
Supervisor experience is preferred but not required.
Physical Demand:
- Prolonged periods standing and walking.
- Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, kneel, or crawl into awkward spaces.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
