POSITION SUMMARY: The Settlement Coordinator will primarily take the lead by collecting data and reports from all Recycling plants. This will include proper and timely creation of settlements.
REPORTS TO: Production Control Manager
SUPERVISES: N/A
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create and distribute settlement statements.
- Communicate regularly with Operations staff.
- Update various spreadsheets and reports regularly.
- Create daily RIMAS reports for traders and plants.
- Field questions from Accounting and Buyers.
- Cross train with the Commercial Coordinator position.
- Support the Production Control Manager with any other projects as needed.
- Regular and timely attendance are an expectation of the position.
- Follow the 5S foundations for deploying lean production tools and processes.
Requirements
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Prior industry experience with manufacturing / metals preferred but not required
- Minimum 1 year office environment experience
COMPETENCIES:
- Self-starter that takes initiative with a high attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal, communication and organization skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel
- Ability to multitask and adhere to deadlines

- Physical Activity: Talking, hearing, repetitive motion, stooping, crouching, standing, walking, lifting, and climbing stairs
- Physical Requirements: Sedentary work. Involves sitting most of the time.
- Visual Acuity: ability to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned including to make general observations of facilities.
