The Grocery People (TGP) are hiring a Premium Clerk (Supervisor) for their Wholesale Market located in Edmonton, AB.

What you'll do:

  • Assist in maintaining high standards of customer relations and service.
  • Assist at checkouts as required including operating cash register, packing groceries, car service, etc.
  • Settle customer complaints and adjustments as required.
  • Ensure the practice of safety regulations by staff members and customers and promote the elimination of hazardous conditions.
  • Collaborate with manager in the preparation and maintenance of records as required.
  • Ensure that the quality and condition of all merchandise meets company standards.
  • Other duties as required. 

Who you’ll work with:

The Team: You will assist in the supervision of junior staff and will report to the Centre Store Supervisor. This collaborative team strives to cultivate high standards of customer service.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and:

  • Have retail store experience.
  • Have excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Are a reliable self starter with the ability to think proactively, be a problem solver, and effectively lead a team.
  • Can work a flexible schedule including weekends.
