3:00 PM - 11:00 PMJob Objective: Ability to operate and be certified on a variety of manufacturing equipment following established Standard Operating Procedures. Maintain Safety, Quality and takt time standards. Ability to perform varying assignments daily.
Essential Job Functions:
- Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment.
- Perform machine change overs.
- Operate complex manufacturing equipment following established procedures and Control Plans.
- Read and interpret the Discrete Job Routing Sheet.
- Review part drawings from the resident computer system.
- Perform quality checks as documented.
- Complete necessary computer transactions or paperwork.
- Maintain established production standards.
- Accountable for personal goals and the department’s team goals.
- Individual must be flexible and have the ability to learn to operate in several different cell areas after required training has been met.
- Ability to successfully complete training and operate PIT’s.
Job Qualifications:
- High School Diploma and/or GED required.
- Three years of experience operating production machinery to set standards.
- Demonstrated proficiency in the operation of several different manufacturing processes.
- Demonstrated computer literacy.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to train.
- Responsible for training new operators on the job.
- Demonstrate visual recognition of product.
