Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree with related experience required.
- Sound judgment, communication, organizational, supervisory and interpersonal skills, as well as initiative and creativity are required.
- Demonstrated ability to create and build constituent relationships, particularly with students, employers, faculty and alumni.
- Demonstrated ability to speak persuasively to small and large groups.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment and initiative and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Ability to use technology, including the Internet and web-based applications, to manage databases and services and to develop print and electronic informational and promotional pieces.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree preferred, supervisory experience, and knowledge of career development process.
- Experience providing career counseling and experience providing career services at the college level.
- Knowledge of the employment process and ability to assist students with their job search strategies.
