Position:   Teacher  - Math (P1666) LONG TERM SUBSTITUTE

Location:   Poca High School

Evaluated by:  Principal/Assistant Principal

Salary Range: Professional_Salary_Schedule_Annual_2024.pdf (core-docs.s3.amazonaws.com) based on experience and education level per Putnam County Board of Education salary schedule plus a competitive benefits package to include: PEIA insurance.

Job Description:  The LONG TERM SUBSTITUTE Math Teacher is assigned to deliver a comprehensive Math program in accordance with state law and West Virginia Board of Education and county policies and regulations.

Qualifications:   Holds or qualifies for a West Virginia Professional or Temporary Teaching Certificate endorsed for comprehensive mathematics at the grade levels applicable to this assignment (9-12).

Length of Employment:  Until Employee Returns or Resigns

Responsibilities:  The LONG TERM SUBSTITUTE Math Teacher shall have the responsibilities and duties as outlined in the Putnam County Schools Job Description Handbook.

Effective Employment Date:  November 4, 2025
