Description
The Commercial Support & Marketing Associate is responsible for delivering the world-class service our commercial customers have come to expect. The ideal candidate plays a key role in supporting our sales teams and customer service functions, is a self-starter who takes the initiative to accomplish the tasks at hand to ensure a smooth and professional experience for our customers from discovery to delivery. Responsible for managing accounts, resolving customer issues, cross-selling or upselling products and services, and ready to assist with basic marketing content, reporting and campaign support. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced commercial environment.

DGH is a leading manufacturer of technical textiles, fabrics and yarns used in the appliance industry, industrial markets, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Manage commercial custom inquiries via phone, email and web.
- Process and manage all incoming commercial orders, quotes and inquiries with accuracy and speed.
- Maintain CRM system with accurate customer information, communication logs, and sales activity.
- Provide product information, pricing, availability and lead times to customers. As well as identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to maximize account value.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and logistics teams to ensure customer needs are met.
- Prepare and deliver quotations and follow up on open quotes.
- Track order status and proactively communicate updates or issues to customers.
- Support the sales teams with account management tasks, customer sample requests, reports, document preparation and customer updates.
- Monitor order status, handle change orders, and provide updates to customers.
- Identify opportunities to improve the customer experience and internal processes.
- Maintain updated customer lists.
- Prepare all necessary commercial PowerPoint presentations.
- Be certain all daily PowerBI reports are reconciled and accurate.
- Assist with basic content updates for the website or social media.
- Support email campaigns (e.g., preparing mailing lists, reviewing templates).
- Help track marketing KPIs using spreadsheets or reporting tools.
- Help organize and maintain digital brochures, literature and price sheets.
- Support tradeshow prep and materials as needed.
Requirements
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma
- 2 or 4-year business related degree, a plus
- Prior experience in a customer service role or a related field, a plus
SKILLS:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple customer accounts simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented with a problem-solving approach to meet client needs effectively.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Sage, a plus
- Experience with CRM (Pipedrive), a plus
EMPLOYMENT TYPE, CLASSIFICATION & EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
- This is an on-site, full-time, exempt position.
- The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM, with a 60-minute unpaid lunch.
- Department demands may necessitate additional work outside of the standard work schedule.
POSITION TYPE:
This role is an individual contributor, someone who provides specialized work & expertise and contributes directly to the Organization’s success without managing other people.
TRAVEL:
This position does not require travel.
