Position Criteria:
- Bachelor's degree: Management Information Systems or Computer Science, preferred
- 2-3 years experience in Systems Administration
- Experience with Google For Education, or aptitude to learn
- Experience evaluating emerging hardware/software technologies
- Experience in Windows and Mac OS, Software & Security management
Performance Criteria:
- Administer, update and maintain the district's technology computer servers, systems and hardware, including Apple deployment software platform (JAMF).
- Maintain, support, update and troubleshoot Windows, iOS and OSX client systems
- Administer district’s server & virtual computing infrastructure
- Install, maintain, and monitor printers, printer access, and print servers
- Create and maintain scripts, programs, or other software to facilitate communication between district systems to improve the flow of information. (Automation scripts)
- User Account management (username, email, password, groups - creation, modification, and removal)
- Maintain backups of district servers.
- Manage Google for Education (Apps, Email, Drive, Security, Users, Groups, ChromeBooks, etc)
- Manage Azure Active Directory.
- Custom Scripting for solutions for Automations.
- Backup, maintain, create and secure district and 3rd party databases
- Maintain confidentiality with user information
- Evaluate new hardwaresoftware technologies.
- Work with vendors for quotes, ordering, and support.
- Maintain District Technology Documentation.
- Maintain Nutrition Department Information Systems
- Train Field Techs in software systems and PC hardware repair
- Perform data searches when requested.
- Support Security Camera System
- Maintain Visitor Management System
- Other duties as assigned by Director of Technology
